However, I am pleased to report that I loved it just as much as any anime event! The people were respectful and kind and the cosplay was just wonderful! To see Batman, the Joker, Cat Woman and so many other characters walking around me, well, it thrilled me to the bone! And as usual, I give props to the people under all of that armor, makeup and skin tight leather! You all did such an amazing job! Keep doing what you're doing! ^^
Anyways, the theme for this convention was Brains? Or Brawn? I loved that theme, considering how there are heroes who rely more on their brains and others who lean more on instinct and power. No one was left out. It shows that there is no wrong way to go about things. That even though there will always be Batman vs Superman, as far as fanboy factions go, that both are heroes and both can be admired for their individual traits. Because heroes reflect what we have in us as humans, since we, ourselves, created them, it shows that there is no wrong way to be and live. That all talents should be celebrated and can in some way change the world for the better.
Also, the diversity that this event held was unparalleled! A Harry Potter Panel, a DC vs Marvel panel and a Pokemon panel could be found at this year's Tampa Bay Comic con, just to name a few! I had a fabulous time and wouldn't mind going back next year, if that is at all possible! As usual, my thanks to everyone who bought something from us at the conventions, or from any Vendor or Artisan for that matter. It is your continued support that makes these conventions possible!
So, enjoy the pictures I took below and have yourselves a Spicy day! ^^
