Hello everyone! ^^ I apologize for this update being a bit over due. Tsk tsk, I do believe a pattern is emerging in my blogging that is not exactly desirable, hehe~ But, that is why I appreciate everyone's patience all the more! Now then, onto the meat of the matter!
Ah, Metrocon! For all of you who do not know, that convention and I go back a ways. It is the first convention I ever attended! That would mean that I have gone to Metrocon a total of three times. But, as far as Dragon Spice goes, this is our second year of representing there as a Vendor! It is quite exciting and we are hoping to go again next year, as well.
Metrocon was quite the experience this year. There were so many vendors with so many nice things! Pretties! Pretties everywhere! Haha, forgive me for my over excitement. But, the things around me were just that enthralling. I bought some myself, because I simply couldn't resist!
As for entertainment, they had the elaborate and engaging chess match that they put on every year, which Metrocon has become well known for throughout Florida's convention circuit as a must see event. They had amazing voice actors and celebrities there, as usual and they even had some Five Nights at Freddy's events! It is amazing and inspiring to me that a game that started out on Steam with a shoe string budget has become such a well beloved phenomenon! I do hope that more developers and dreamers will get such a chance.
But for me, the main attraction of Metrocon 2015 was all of you! So many beautiful cosplays, costumes and outfits that were handmade with love and care and surely must have taken weeks to put together! My favorite cosplay this convention was a girl who dressed like a humanoid version of Glados from Portal. Her picture and many others of awesome people are posted below, as usual, for your viewing pleasure! ^^ As always, I can not thank all of you enough who bought not only from me, but from the other vendors as well. It is your continued support that keeps these conventions going to provide all of us anime fans as a collective whole with community events and allows people like me to follow their dreams.
So, I wish you all a Spicy day! ^^
